Cesar Fargozo

Head of Unit for Sectorial Development at ProMexico

Cesar Fargozo is Head of Unit for Sectorial Development at ProMexico, an agency of the Ministry of Economy of the Mexican Government promoting exports and encouraging foreign direct investment into Mexico as well as the internationalization of Mexico businesses across the globe.

Prior to his current role as Minister for Asia, Cesar has overseen a dozen of ProMexico’s Asia and the Middle East representatives’ offices in China, Korea, Japan India, Singapore, Qatar and the U.A.E., among others. In addition, Cesar’s previous roles abroad include Trade and Investments Commissioner in Taiwan and in Germany promoting in the latter, European investment into Mexico. Cesar began his career in finance and  corporate banking within Mexico’s most salient banks. Cesar was educated in Mexico, Germany and the    United Kingdom form where he obtained an MSc in International Securities Investment from the University of Reading, England.


Miguel Angel Galindo Vega is a Lawyer from the University of the Americas-Mexico City and possess a Master in International Organizations and Institutions from the same University. He also holds a Master’s Degree in International Cooperation for Development of the University of Cantabria, in Spain.

Since 2003, Mr. Galindo Vega has worked for the Mexican Government, particularly in the Federal Commission for Regulatory Improvement and the General Directorate for Foreign Investment. Currently, he holds the position of Director of International Trade in Services and Investment at the Mexican Ministry of Economy, where he supports the negotiation of international treaties (bilateral, regional or multilateral) and monitors and disseminates information related to trade in services and investment. In this regard, Mr. Galindo Vega is currently participating in the negotiations of the North American Free Trade Agreement and the Free Trade Agreement with the European Union, among others.

Finally, Mr. Galindo Vega has also participated as a professor of international law and law at the Technological University of Mexico, the University of the Americas and the Technological and Higher Studies Institute of Monterrey.

Thomas Wagner

CEO and Founder at WMP Mexico Advisors.

Mr. Thomas Wagner is the CEO and founder of the WMP Mexico Advisors group. Mr. Wagner is a German national and resides and works since almost 20 years in Mexico. Before founding the WMP Group he served as CFO for international manufacturing companies in the automotive and appliance industry in Mexico.

WMP was founded in 2007 and employs today 90 associates and has offices in Querétaro, Mexico-City, Puebla, Stuttgart and Greenville. Services offered by The WMP Group are accounting, tax advisory, legal, HR Payroll, project management and recruitment. With the focus on Mexico the group is serving over 180 international clients to develop their business in the local market.


Alfonso is a Partner of the M&A Transaction Services Group and the leader of the M&A Strategy and Corporate Restructuring practice in Mexico.

With over 10 years of experience in all types of strategy projects throughout the deal cycle, his experience includes both pre and post-deal engagements such as strategies for entering into new markets, market research, target screening processes, synergy identification and quantification, commercial due diligence, post-merger integration planning and carve-outs.

Respected for his ability to understand the full potential of a business and mapping out how the inherent value can be extracted, Alfonso has experience in all types of industries with blue chip (e.g. Google, 7-Eleven, Nissan) and private equity (e.g. APAX Partners, Doughty Hanson, Southern Cross) clients in national, inbound and outbound transactions in Europe, Australia, LatAm and Southeast Asia.

Alfonso holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Industrial Engineering by Universidad de Vigo (Spain) and a Master of Science in Manufacturing Strategy by Cranfield University (United Kingdom). Prior to joining the M&A Transaction Services Group in Deloitte, Alfonso was part of the PwC´s Strategy Team in Spain and Australia. Before PwC, Alfonso was involved in several industrial projects with McKinsey & Co. and Unilever in the UK and Germany.

Luis G. Lizcano

Luis G. Lizcano, managing Director at FEMIA has  more than 25 years of experience in Industry Development from different perspectives (Government positions and Private Companies). Mr. Lizcano was in charge of Foreign Direct Investment Attraction for the northern state of Chihuahua Government where he had the opportunity to design and implement the Aerospace Industry Development Strategy to attract companies like Cessna, Honeywell Aerospace, Beechcraft and Bell Helicopter to mention a few. His background is important in Economic Development, Automotive, Aerospace & Industrial Real Estate. Mr. Lizcano holds an Industrial Engineering degree from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey



César Maillard Canudas is Lead Managing Partner  of the Firm Maillard, Cerbón, Canudas, Argumedo y Asociados, and from that position he actively participates in issues such as collective bargaining negotiations, litigation, public relations and counsel in labor matter, advice on employment among some of his multiple tasks. He received the nomination as Endeavor Mentor in recognition to his professional career and work experience, whose main mission is to bring support and consultancy to the novice entrepreneurs, either for renowned, in order to contribute to their companies succeeding and  growing in labor matters.

Currently, he is also working as Counselor for Mexico´s Employers before the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the International Organization of Employers (IOE), designation granted by the Representatives Consultative Committee from CONCAMIN (Confederation of Industrial Chambers in México). He is also Vice-president of Labor and Social Welfare and Social Security Committees in CONCAMIN; Member of the Consultative Committee and Proprietary Adviser in the FONACOT Institute, representative to the 2014 Inspections Program; Substitute at the Safety and Health at Work Consultative Committee and the Safety and Health Standardization National Consultative Committee meetings, before the Secretaría del Trabajo y Previsión Social (Secretariat of Labor and Social Welfare in México), as well as Substitute for the National Committee of Productivity at the Secretaría de Hacienda y Crédito Público. Pablo Coballasi

Co-founder and Managing Director of PC Capital

Pablo is the Co-founder and Managing Director of PC Capital, a Mexican leading Investment Banking and Private Equity firm dedicated to growth equity investments in Mexico. He is a member of the firm’s investment committee and serves on multiple corporate boards. Before PC Capital, Pablo worked as a Vice President for FondElec Group, where he helped managed a Private Equity portfolio of over US $600 MM of investments and co-investments in Latin America. Before FondElec, Pablo worked as a consultant for Deloitte Consulting and served clients in Latin America and the United States.

He is also a board member of GLJ Capital in the Dominican Republic, one of the country’s largest private investment groups and a representative of the Mexican Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (AMEXCAP) before the Mexican Business Coordinating Council (Consejo Coordinador Empresarial). Pablo holds a BE in Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt University, and has an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

Carlos Alvarez Romero is Director General at LIVENTIA and is an Industrial Engineer from Tecnológico de Monterrey with a MBA from the Business School of Birmingham (UK). He has more than 16 years of experience as a manager in transnational companies like Monsanto, Bayer and Aliaxis.

Carlos is responsible for the design and implementation of strategy, new business and transformation projects. He has led high performance multinational teams in more than 14 countries. He was a consultant with Accenture, World Bank and Tantum, advising multinational organizations in the biotechnology, construction, food, beverage and energy industries.

Reynaldo Vizcarra is the managing partner of Baker McKenzie’s Mexico offices and a member of the corporate and transactional practice group. Mr. Vizcarra focuses his practice on corporate law matters, including mergers and acquisitions and the preparation, supervision and implementation of agreements. His practice also covers investment and infrastructure projects. In addition to his practice, Mr. Vizcarra regularly lectures on foreign investments in Mexico and various issues related to Compliance and anti-corruption law, among others.
